4/20 Styled Shoot With UWF + Sydney Brown

Last month our dear friend Waverly of United We Function reached out to ask if we'd like to collaborate on a styled photo shoot at The York Manor in Highland Park. Oh, but of course!

As I kept reading I was so ecstatic to learn the theme of this shoot would be "A Green Wedding // Cannabis", with the goal of keeping it tasteful and incorporating lots of green elements; I rejoiced!

When choosing drinks for a styled shoot (or event) Iveth and I like showcasing a variety of different spirits, colors, flavors, glassware, etc. So we bounced some ideas back and forth and came up with these three cocktails...

Left to right...

Grassedhopper - aged rum. creme de menthe. heavy cream. cannabis tincture.

Mary Highball - vodka. fresh honeydew. fresh lime. rosemary. seltzer.

Dreamville - silver tequila. mezcal. elderflower. fresh lemon. egg white. cannabis infused Angostura.

I was so curious to learn what inspired this unique theme, so I asked Waverly...

"With styled shoots, time is on your side vs. a real wedding where everything must run according to the timeline you've created with your bride + groom.

I don't always share that I smoke, or do edibles, but I thought it would be fun to show that you can subtly incorporate weed into your special day through cocktails, dessert or wedding gifts."
